The reefing drum is equipped with high-strength stainless steel and Delrin® ball bearings. The halyard swivel features Torlon® and Delrin® ball bearings, which improve overall performance and increase mechanical resistance.

The 609 drum cheeks can be swivelled through 360° and ensure safe maneuvers by feeding the tiller rope evenly and evenly. These cheeks protect the reefing drum efficiently and the round, unobtrusive design, combined with countersunk screws, allows the ropes to run freely.
