Compact diesel generator Piccolo

Description

The compact generators of the Piccolo series from WhisperPower combine modern diesel engine technology with a very compact permanent magnet generator that sits directly behind the engine – instead of a fixed-speed generator on the flywheel. This makes them considerably smaller and lighter than conventional generators. A separate PMG module with inverter keeps voltage and frequency stable over the entire speed range; the speed can be set to the point with the best ratio of power, noise and vibration.

Selection guide

Choose the power according to the demand of the loads operated simultaneously and set the rated voltage and frequency (230 V / 50 Hz or 120 V / 60 Hz) to match the on-board system. The PMG module has its own housing and needs additional installation space next to the generator.
