Battery charger Skylla-TG GMDSS

Description

The Skylla-TG GMDSS is a 24 V charger for direct connection of battery and GMDSS system and provides all necessary monitoring and alarm data. Data and alarm messages appear on the digital VE.Net GMDSS panel, which is connected to the charger via a standard eight-core UTP cable. Panel and cable are not included.

• Mains input 90–265 V AC, 45–65 Hz
• Three-stage IUoUo charge curve, absorption voltage 28.5 V, float voltage 26.5 V
• Charge voltage adjustable for flooded and VRLA batteries
• 1.5 m GMDSS cable on the charger
• Panel shows data, alarms and the remaining battery runtime during a power failure
• Complies with IEC 60945 for maritime navigation and radio equipment
• Protection rating IP21

Application

For vessels with a 24 V onboard network and GMDSS installation in which battery charging, monitoring and alarms are to be handled by a common charger.

Selection guide

The VE.Net GMDSS panel and the eight-core UTP cable are not included and must be ordered separately.
