Isolation transformer for the shore connection
Description
The isolation transformer prevents electrolytic corrosion and makes the electrical system on board safer. It galvanically isolates the onboard network from the shore power protective earth and creates a separate onboard protective earth so that RCDs (residual current devices) work. The toroidally wound technology operates quietly and with high efficiency; a soft-start circuit prevents the shore breaker from tripping when connecting.

Application
