Battery management system smallBMS with pre-alarm

Description

The smallBMS is a compact battery management system for Victron Lithium Battery Smart (12.8 V and 25.6 V) without a VE.Bus connection. It monitors cell undervoltage, cell overvoltage and over- and undertemperature of the batteries. A pre-alarm output signals the imminent shutdown at least 30 seconds before the load is disconnected. Via “Load disconnect”, “Charge disconnect” and a remote on/off connection it controls loads and charging sources.

Application

For installations with Lithium Battery Smart without VE.Bus devices, in which loads and charging sources are controlled via relays or chargers with an enable input.

Selection guide

Not intended for systems with VE.Bus devices such as MultiPlus or Quattro; the VE.Bus BMS V2 is used there.
