Battery management system VE.Bus BMS V2

Description

The VE.Bus BMS V2 protects Lithium Battery Smart (12.8 V and 25.6 V, LiFePO4) in systems with VE.Bus inverters and chargers. It monitors every single cell for overvoltage and undervoltage as well as over- and undertemperature, and issues a pre-alarm signal before imminent cell undervoltage. In the event of undervoltage it shuts down inverting in the VE.Bus device and disconnects further loads via the “Load disconnect” terminal. In the event of overvoltage or impermissible temperature it stops charging in the VE.Bus device and, via “Charge disconnect”, also in further chargers.

For boats and vehicles with Lithium Battery Smart and a Victron inverter or charger with VE.Bus, in which the battery bank is to be monitored and shut down centrally.

Selection guide

The VE.Bus BMS V2 works exclusively with VE.Bus devices. For installations without a VE.Bus device, the smallBMS is the suitable alternative.
