Inflatable horseshoe buoy
Description
The inflatable lifebuoy unit consists of two parts: a holder on the pushpit and a container in which the lifebuoy is stowed. In a man overboard situation, the canister is thrown to the casualty; inflation is triggered by the tension on the line connecting the container to the holder.
Features
- Two-part: holder for the pushpit and container for the lifebuoy
- Inflation via line tension – no manual activation needed
- Yellow nylon fabric, polyurethane-coated
- Supplied with throwing line and drogue
- ABS plastic container, in yellow or white, each with or without light
Application
For man overboard rescue by throwing, when there is little space on the pushpit for a rigid buoy.
