Liferaft Coastel ISO 9650-2

Description

The Coastel is a liferaft to ISO 9650-2 for moderate conditions. A firm pull on the painter starts the firing, after which the gas pressure inflates the raft automatically – reliably from as low as 0 °C. The fluorescent orange canopy is raised manually, depending on size via a fibreglass frame or an inflatable canopy arch.

Features

• Single floor, designed for moderate water and air temperatures
• Fluorescent orange canopy with external light and reflective strips for good visibility at night
• Boarding ladder that folds through 180° and an inside handle make boarding from the water easier
• If the raft capsizes, the boarding ladder tips into the water thanks to integrated weights – making it easier to right the raft
• Twin-tube buoyancy chamber design: if one chamber fails through damage, the second keeps the raft afloat
• Packed in a valise or a rigid canister

Application

For coastal passages in moderate waters, where rescue can be expected within a short time.
