EPIRB rescueME with GPS

Description

In a distress situation, the compact Ocean Signal EPIRBs transmit the GPS position with a unique identifier via the 406 MHz satellite system to a ground station, which alerts the rescue services; on scene, the 121.5 MHz homing signal and two bright LED strobe lights guide rescuers in. The EPIRB3 additionally transmits AIS for nearby vessels, confirms receipt of the distress alert via the Return Link Service (RLS) and also features NFC and an infrared strobe light. Both models are available with a wall bracket or as a PRO version in an AutoFloatFree housing with hydrostatic release.

Application

EPIRB for yachts and motorboats: with wall bracket, close at hand below deck, or as a PRO version on deck, where the housing releases the beacon automatically in a distress situation.

Selection guide

EPIRB1 or EPIRB3: the EPIRB3 additionally alerts nearby vessels via AIS, reports receipt of the distress alert back via RLS and can be checked via the NFC app. The wall bracket is sufficient for manual activation; if you mount the beacon on deck and want automatic release, choose the PRO version.
