Chain stopper
Description
Windlasses are not designed for the high loads that occur at anchor. The Maxwell chain stopper takes the chain, relieves the windlass and prevents the anchor from accidentally running out while under way.
Features
- Body and pin of 316 stainless steel, pawl of high-strength 2205 stainless steel
- Higher safe working load than the matching chains to DIN 766, G30 and G43
- Pawl matched to the chain protects the galvanising
- Mirror-polished finish
- Higher versions matched to the chain height of RC windlasses – without spacers or plinths
Application
Mounted between bow roller and windlass, for any yacht with an anchor chain – at anchor and at sea.
