Solar charge controller Solar ChargeMaster PWM

Description

The PWM solar charge controller is suitable for 36-cell panels in 12 V systems and 72-cell panels in 24 V systems. It is splash-proof, suitable for high ambient temperatures and compatible with negative earthing, making it suitable for marine and automotive applications. It charges all types of lead-acid batteries (AGM, gel, flooded) at 12 V or 24 V, has a large display and a switchable output with dusk and night lighting function. A battery temperature sensor is available as an option.

Features

• PWM technology (pulse width modulation)
• Automatic detection of 12 V and 24 V
• For lead-acid batteries: AGM, gel and flooded
• Panels with 36 cells (12 V) or 72 cells (24 V)
• Large display
• Switchable output with dusk and night lighting function
• Splash-proof, suitable for high ambient temperatures
• Protection against overtemperature, overload, short circuit and reverse polarity

Application

For marine and automotive applications in which lead-acid batteries are charged from solar panels using PWM technology.

Selection guide

The models differ in rated charge current (20 A or 40 A) and thus in the recommended panel power. The battery temperature sensor is available separately as an accessory.
