Description
The air-cooled Compact Classic refrigeration units use the mechanical thermostat, the standard control of the Isotherm refrigeration range. It is regarded as reliable and easy for boat owners to use. A fan blows air through the condenser and dissipates the heat; the compressor compartment must therefore be well ventilated so that cold air can enter from below and hot air can escape at the top. The units consist of compressor and evaporator and are supplied with a flat, L-shaped or oval evaporator depending on the cold compartment.

- Good ventilation of the compressor compartment required (air intake from below, exhaust at the top)

Application
For boats on which an existing or self-built cold compartment is to be run with an air-cooled refrigeration unit with mechanical thermostat.
Selection guide
The selection indicates the refrigeration volume of the cold compartment and the evaporator shape; at 100 litres there are two evaporator sizes.
